Terms of service
Please read these before booking. By booking or using the service you agree to the conditions below. They are written to be read, not skimmed.
Last revised October 2026
1. Overview
Mobile Tyre Change provides mobile tyre fitting, emergency tyre replacement and puncture repair at the customer's location. These terms govern all service bookings and interactions with the business.
2. How the service works
- A fitter is usually with you within 30 to 45 minutes of the call. The time quoted on the call is an estimate and depends on traffic, weather and location.
- All work is carried out at your location by trained technicians.
- We use new, branded tyres and parts for every job.
- Availability may be limited during extreme weather or in remote areas.
3. Pricing and payment
All prices are quoted before work begins and include parts, labour and any applicable call-out charge. A deposit is taken to confirm the booking and the balance is due on completion. We accept cash, card and bank transfer. An out-of-hours supplement may apply to late-night and bank holiday bookings, and is included in the price you are quoted.
4. Booking confirmation
A booking is confirmed once an appointment time has been agreed and a deposit has been received. On confirmation we allocate a technician, vehicle and stock to your job.
5. Cancellations and missed appointments
If you cancel a confirmed booking:
- The call-out charge is non-refundable and acts as the cancellation fee.
- This applies whether the cancellation happens before dispatch, after dispatch or on arrival.
- If the technician attends and the service is no longer needed, the full call-out charge remains payable.
Cancellations made less than one hour before the agreed time, no-shows, and incorrect address details are treated as missed appointments and the call-out charge applies in full. Follow-up visits may be charged.
6. Special orders and non-returnable items
- Tyres, parts or goods ordered specifically for your vehicle are non-refundable once ordered.
- This applies regardless of cancellation, change of mind or incorrect details supplied by the customer.
7. Warranty and liability
We stand behind the work:
- Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
- Workmanship is covered for 12 months from the date of service.
- Tyres are subject to the tyre manufacturer's own terms.
Our total liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for consequential losses resulting from breakdowns or service delays.
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate location, contact and vehicle details.
- Ensure safe, legal access to the vehicle at the agreed location.
- Supply the correct tyre size or part specification where relevant.
- Be present, or have an authorised person present, during the service.
- Report any concern about completed work within 7 days.
We accept no liability for delays, failed services or extra costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information. Additional visits may be chargeable.
9. Refunds
Except where required by law, refunds are not issued for:
- Call-out charges
- Labour already allocated or completed
- Special or custom-ordered goods
Discretionary refunds may be issued at management's sole discretion.
10. Emergency call-outs
The 24-hour line is for genuine tyre emergencies and bookings. Misuse may result in additional charges. Service may be suspended during dangerous weather for the safety of technicians and customers.
11. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change is published is acceptance of the revised terms.
